Closure of the University Of Lagos

Following the ongoing agitation by the student body over poor electricity and power supply on campus, the Senate held an emergency meeting on Thurs.7/4/2016 to review the situation. At the meeting senate noted that the issue of poor municipal services is a national one. In order to forestall further breakdown of law and order, senate directed that the University be close down with immediate effect. It further announced the suspension of all academic activities till further notice. All students are hereby directed to vacate the halls of residence not later 10am on Fri.8/4/2016..
